2019 – #growth

Hello 2019! Phew am I the only one who is over the moon that 2018 finally came to an end? It was a year full of challenge upon challenge for my family and it’s time to push that behind us, no dwelling in the past!

Onward and upward!! I am making growth my word of choice this year. Having a clear idea of what direction I want my business and life to head really helps me get to where I would like to be. They say writing down a goal increases the chances you’ll accomplish it… and sharing it brings those chance up to 85% so…  here’s a quick breakdown of what growth is going to look like for me in 2019.

personal

Something I will make time for this year is reading… actual books. My aim is to read at least 1 new book a month.

relationships

With 3 kids aged 3 and under life is a bit chaotic… ok it’s a lot chaotic. I am striving for at least 1 outing sans kids a month… 2019 is off to a speedy start having had our first date in about 6 months just last night!

Mom life – keeping it simple to just say be more present with my girls.

business

Work on and launch 3 new projects within the first half of the year (1 down – 2 to go!). If you haven’t yet joined Habit Cycling click here to become part of this new healthy practices method I’ve been working on with my friend Jenny.

health

Get 7.5 hours of sleep every night, drink a lot of water, take my vitamins, get in a workout every single day (including 3 high intensity sweaty workouts!) and make a difference in at least 5 new peoples lives a month!

My Crohn’s disease is always present in my life but doing the above really helps keep it under control. I will share more about my gut health issues in a later post.

I hope this post gave you some inspiration to set your own objectives for the new year – and remember you can set goals anytime…. you don’t need a new month or year to evaluate where you’re at and where you want to go.
